Will Buxton is one of the most popular and richest Television Presenter who was born on February 14, 1981 in Portsmouth, United Kingdom. Buxton participated of this year’s Florida Winter Series, racing in a vehicle reserved for journalists as well as the future Formula 1 drivers Max Verstappen, Lance Stroll and Nicolas Latifi.
In 2018 Buxton announced he was engaged to Victoria Helyar, who worked in marketing for Racing Point F1 Team.
Buxton returned to Formula 1 in an official capacity in 2018, becoming Formula One Group’s first Digital Presenter. He hosts a number of features on their official YouTube channel, including Paddock Pass, a feature he carried over from NBC.
In 2010 Buxton was recruited by Speed Motorsports Channel, an online motorsports channel operated by Fox Sports, as Formula 1 pit-lane reporter. However, they lost their rights to broadcast F1 in the year 2012. In 2013 the rights to broadcast Formula 1 went to NBC Sports which is where Buxton was able to resume his job as pit-lane reporter in addition to later joining the broadcast team of NBC for Indycar races until the end of 2017.
Buxton was given the position of press officer during the first GP2 Series of 2005, and later elevated as director of Communications. In 2008, Buxton became editor of GPWeek virtual magazine. Then, in 2009, he began broadcasting live commentary for the GP2 Series and the GP2 Asia Series for the Formula One Group.
In a Sky Sports F1 interview in December 2017 Buxton supported the changes Liberty Media had made whilst running Formula 1, despite these changes having lost him his job at NBC Sports.
