The iPhone’s automatic dimming feature is designed to conserve battery life by reducing the screen’s brightness after a period of inactivity. While this feature can be helpful in some situations, it can also be frustrating if you find yourself constantly having to adjust the screen brightness. Fortunately, there is a way to disable the automatic dimming feature and keep your iPhone’s screen bright at all times.
To disable the automatic dimming feature, go to Settings > Display & Brightness. Under the Brightness section, you will see a slider that you can use to adjust the screen brightness. Below the slider, you will see an option labeled “Auto-Brightness.” Tap the switch next to this option to turn it off.
