Catch Phrase is a classic board game where players take turns trying to guess a word or phrase that is being described by their teammates. The game is played with a game board, a deck of cards, and a timer. The game board is divided into two halves, with one half for each team. The deck of cards contains a variety of words and phrases, and the timer is used to keep track of how long each team has to guess the word or phrase.
To start the game, one player from each team is chosen to be the “guesser.” The guesser then picks a card from the deck and reads the word or phrase to their teammates. The teammates then have 60 seconds to try to get the guesser to say the word or phrase. They can do this by giving the guesser clues, acting out the word or phrase, or singing the word or phrase. If the guesser says the word or phrase correctly before the timer runs out, their team scores a point. If the guesser does not say the word or phrase correctly before the timer runs out, the other team scores a point.
