The fireman’s lift, also known as the emergency carry or the two-person carry, is a method of carrying an injured or unconscious person by two people. It is often used by firefighters and other emergency responders to remove people from burning buildings or other dangerous situations.
To perform a fireman’s lift, the two people stand on either side of the injured person. One person places their arms under the injured person’s armpits and the other person places their arms under the injured person’s knees. The two people then lift the injured person to a standing position and carry them away.
