Many iPhone users may not be aware that there is a way to click enter or return without sending an iMessage. This can be a useful trick to know, especially if you are in the middle of typing a long message and you want to make sure that you don’t accidentally send it before you are finished.
To click enter without sending an iMessage, simply press and hold the return key on your keyboard. After a few seconds, the “Send” button will change to a blue arrow. To send the message, simply tap the blue arrow. If you change your mind and decide that you don’t want to send the message after all, simply tap the “X” button to cancel.
