A chilena is a type of bicycle trick in BMX and mountain biking. It is performed by lifting the rear wheel of the bicycle up over the rider’s head and rotating it 360 degrees. The chilena is a difficult trick to master, but it can be very impressive when done correctly.

The chilena was invented by Chilean BMX rider Francisco “Chaleco” Morales in 1987. Morales was inspired by a similar trick that he saw performed by a motorcycle rider. He adapted the trick to BMX and named it after his home country.
