Then, add 2 tablespoons of baking soda to the balloon and insert the balloon over the funnel. Finally, add 1/4 cup of vinegar to the bottle and watch as the balloon inflates. The chemical reaction between the baking soda and vinegar creates carbon dioxide gas, which fills the balloon.
