Stitches gives Shawn Mendes his first UK number one single
Shawn Mendes has scored his first UK number one with hit song Stitches.
After finally being released in the UK months after its international release, the Canadian star managed to fight off competition from Justin Bieber, who drops to numbers two, three and four with his singles Love Yourself, Sorry and What Do You Mean.

This week marks the first time the top four singles are occupied by Canadian musicians, with Justin and Shawn flying the flag.
