On July 8, 2011, after the conclusion of the loan agreement with Foggia club, he made the move away from Milan for Pescara, the Serie B club Pescara in a co-ownership contract.
In order to gain first-team experience Romagnoli was loaned for the Prima Divisione club Foggia for the 2010-11 season. He made his debut with the club in the opening fixture during the Coppa Italia Lega Pro group stage against L’Aquila — a game that Foggia beat 2-1 on August 14, 2010. The following week, in the opening league match of the season Foggia scored his first goal by kicking in an angle.
