Del Zotto played minor ice hockey with the Stouffville Clippers A of the Whitchurch-Stouffville Minor Hockey Association. He then played for the Richmond Hill Stars and the Markham Waxers in the Ontario Minor Hockey Association’s Eastern AAA League.
