Louis William “Lou” Merloni, born April 6, 1971, is an American radio personality. He was also a former Major League Baseball player. Merloni was scouted in 1998 by ‘Buzz Bowers, a hall of fame scout. He played for the Boston Red Sox from 1998 to 2002 and then again for part 2003. Merloni’s frequent trips between the Red Sox Red Sox and their Triple A affiliate, Pawtucket Red Sox is well-known in the area.
