YouTube Music is a music streaming service that allows users to listen to music videos, albums, and singles on their mobile devices, computers, and smart TVs. However, by default, YouTube Music will stop playing when the user exits the app or locks their screen. This can be frustrating for users who want to listen to music in the background while they are using other apps or multitasking.
There are a few different ways to make YouTube Music play in the background. One way is to use the YouTube Music app’s “background playback” feature. This feature is available for YouTube Music Premium subscribers. To enable background playback, open the YouTube Music app and tap on the three lines in the top-left corner of the screen. Then, tap on “Settings” and scroll down to the “Background playback” option. Tap on the toggle switch to enable background playback.
